Jason Saris started professionally offshore racing in 1982. At the time he we working at Keith Hazell's Harbor 1 Marina in Ft. Lauderdale and completely immersed in the fast growing sport of offshore. His first offshore win would be that same year driving a 30ft Flight Marine cat called "Sheer Terror." Since then, Jason was won 7 National Championships and 8 World Championships. Lessons learned while working for Hazell combined with 40 years of offshore racing experience are applied every day at Team Saris Performance Marine. At the same time he was racing with Sheer and managing Harbor 1, Jason also worked his way up to head of maintenance for the US Customs Department's fleet of USA Racing Cats. SInce then, hulls Saris has rigged, powered and maintained have won multiple National and World Titles, set kilo records and endurance records. The experience gained from competition gives us the ability to build you the ultimate pleasure or race engine with the upmost confidence it won't let you down. In 2009 he started racing with his son, Johnny. Since then, the Saris Racing Team has won 7 World Championships and 3 National Championships.
